Jahleesa Phelps

I look forward to working with a firm that is fueling innovation and prioritizing diversity, inclusion, and great talent. Someone once said, if you're always waiting for the right time, then you'll never take the next step. Here at Concrete Rose, they are taking the next step and I'm honored to be a part of this journey.

Jahleesa Phelps is serving as a full-time summer 2021 Intern at Concrete Rose and is a current Black Venture Capital Consortium (BVCC) cohort member. Jahleesa is a rising Senior at North Carolina A&T State University studying Business Management with a minor in Sociology.

Born and raised in metro Atlanta, Jahleesa’s educational background was primarily centered around a rigorous performing arts curriculum. This passion for arts education influenced the way that Jahleesa views the public school system. Through the Echoing Green Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator program in 2019, Jahleesa was able to develop an outline for a program that she hopes, in the future, will have a great impact on the ways that students learn, innovate, and understand themselves.
